Senior Medical Director, Oncology

Job Summary

Leading the execution of early and late-stage clinical trials for oncology products, the full-time Senior Medical Director, Oncology will design study protocols, oversee medical monitoring, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the establishment of clinical trial strategies and design study protocols in compliance with regulations
• Act as medical monitor for company-sponsored trials, assessing eligibility and safety events
• Collaborate with internal teams to analyze safety data and prepare reports for regulatory agencies

Required qualifications:

• MD with a minimum of 8 years post-residency relevant experience in oncology or hematology/oncology
• Extensive drug development experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
• Hands-on experience in the design and execution of controlled clinical trials in oncology
• Understanding of basic science relevant to clinical oncology, such as biochemistry and molecular biology
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the field
