Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Medical Editor to manage medical editing, copyediting, and proofreading of pharmaceutical advertising materials in a full-time remote capacity, ensuring quality and compliance while supporting project teams and mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and proofread digital and print materials for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to style guidelines
• Participate in the content review process and manage multiple brand tasks with competing deadlines
• Onboard and mentor junior team members while representing the Editorial department in meetings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus professional experience
• 5+ years of editing experience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical advertising agency environment
• Thorough knowledge of current AMA style and familiarity with FDA requirements for drug promotion
• Proven experience managing shifting priorities and deadlines in high-pressure situations
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
