Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional, the full-time Senior Medical Editor will manage editorial services including medical editing, copyediting, proofreading, and fact-checking for pharmaceutical advertising materials while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Edit content for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to style guidelines, utilizing AI tools for support
• Participate in the content review process, ensuring fact-checking and accurate referencing throughout all project stages
• Lead assigned launches and mentor junior team members while coordinating tasks with other departments to meet project deadlines

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus professional experience
• 5+ years of editing experience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical advertising agency environment
• Thorough knowledge of current AMA style and familiarity with FDA requirements for drug promotion
• Proven ability to manage shifting priorities and deadlines in high-pressure situations
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
