Job Summary

To guide aspiring physicians through the medical school admissions process, the part-time remote Senior Medical School Admissions Consultant will mentor students in application strategies, personal statement refinement, and interview preparation while managing relationships and providing tailored advice on school selection.

Key responsibilities

• Work with prospective medical school candidates to build their profiles and draft compelling application documents
• Manage relationships with applicants and families, offering strategic guidance on essays, resumes, interviews, and the admissions process
• Identify suitable medical programs and schools for students, providing feedback on their research and aligning options with their goals

Required qualifications

• Admissions Committee Experience: Served on a medical school admissions committee with application review experience
• Completed an MD or DO degree
• 5-7 years of experience in education, coaching, or medical school admissions consulting
• A passion for coaching
• Strong planning and organizational skills
