Job Summary
To support the development of high-impact medical publications, the fully remote Senior Medical Writer will manage and review scientific communications, advise clients on publication strategies, mentor junior writers, and ensure deliverables are accurate and compliant.
Key responsibilities:
- Write, review, and manage medical publications, including manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations
- Advise clients and author teams on scientific narratives and publication best practices
- Mentor junior writers on publication standards and quality assurance practices
Required qualifications:
- Advanced degree in life sciences or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of medical writing experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Expert-level skills in scientific writing and editing, particularly for peer-reviewed publications
- Strong understanding of Good Publication Practices and publication compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with document review systems
