Job Summary
To support Medicare Advantage financial performance, the full-time Senior Medicare Actuarial Analyst will assist in financial analysis, forecasting, pricing, and risk assessment activities while working remotely within the Continental U.S.
Key responsibilities:
- Apply mathematical and statistical principles to analyze Medicare FFS claims and provider risk-sharing arrangements
- Develop and maintain quarterly forecasts for Medicare FFS medical costs and savings initiatives, identifying key trends and variances
- Prepare financial exhibits and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- At least 5 combined years of actuarial experience and actuarial exams passed (Rule of 5)
- Experience in Medicare Advantage forecasting and financial performance
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and data analytics experience
- Basic knowledge of SQL and familiarity with AI/Copilot is a plus
