Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer
Job Summary
To independently own and secure the enterprise Microsoft cloud environment, the remote Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer will manage Microsoft 365 administration, identity and access governance, and endpoint management while driving automation and compliance initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Administer the M365 tenant, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, focusing on configuration and service optimization
- Manage Entra ID and identity lifecycle processes, including authentication, Conditional Access, and privileged access governance
- Build and maintain PowerShell and Microsoft Graph automation to streamline administration and enhance operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- 5-8+ years of hands-on experience in IT, with a bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
- Strong expertise in Entra ID and Identity & Access Management
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune
- Practical experience with Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview, including DLP and eDiscovery
- Proficient in PowerShell and Microsoft Graph for automation tasks
