Senior ML Operations Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the complete model lifecycle, the full-time Senior ML Operations Engineer will manage production ML systems, establish monitoring protocols, and build reusable pipelines while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the complete model lifecycle from experimentation to retirement, ensuring effective deployment and retraining processes
• Build and maintain monitoring systems for data quality, prediction accuracy, and service reliability
• Collaborate with data scientists to define evaluation metrics and improve model performance and infrastructure efficiency

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing production ML systems, including monitoring and continuous improvement
• Strong software development skills in Python and proficiency in SQL
• Hands-on experience with Spark for distributed data processing and building infrastructure with Terraform
• Experience deploying containerized workloads on Kubernetes and building CI/CD pipelines for ML systems
• Demonstrated ability to balance model quality, delivery speed, and infrastructure cost
