Senior Mobile Quality Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the quality engineering of the mobile app Zable, the full-time Senior Mobile Quality Engineer will focus on developing automation frameworks, integrating AI tools for testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own and evolve the mobile test strategy, defining a pragmatic test pyramid and establishing standards for release readiness
- Build and maintain reliable end-to-end automation suites, integrating them into CI for fast feedback on code changes
- Implement AI-assisted testing practices to improve test authoring and coverage insights while collaborating with product and engineering teams on quality initiatives
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Maestro or Detox
- 6+ years in quality engineering or test automation with a proven track record of maintaining stable automated test suites
- Experience with AI-assisted testing practices, including test generation and failure clustering
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript for building testing tools and debugging
- Experience shaping CI/CD pipelines for test reliability, including flakiness reduction and parallelization
