Senior .NET Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing backend engineering team, the fully remote Senior .NET Engineer will design and build scalable cloud applications on Azure using C#, .NET, and SQL, while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring high code quality through comprehensive testing and best practices.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, high-performance cloud applications while adhering to coding standards
- Take ownership of features from concept through deployment, driving substantial product features as a key developer
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming, fostering a collaborative team culture
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software development
- Deep expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem, including .NET Core and ASP.NET Core
- Strong proficiency with Entity Framework Core and MS SQL Server
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Experience with cloud-native and distributed systems, ideally on Azure
