Job Summary
To support the Company's core infrastructure, the full-time Senior Network and Systems Engineer will provision, operate, and secure Linux servers, VMware virtualization, and storage while managing the data center and corporate network, including routers, switches, and firewalls, primarily from the Dallas office.
Key responsibilities
- Deploy, maintain, and support core IT infrastructure, including Linux servers and VMware vSphere
- Design, implement, and maintain the Company's data center and corporate LAN/WAN infrastructure
- Manage network authentication and directory services, ensuring integration with Active Directory
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of progressive experience in systems and network administration with a focus on Enterprise Linux
- Expert proficiency with VMware virtualization and server hardware management
- Advanced skills in dynamic routing protocols and experience with Palo Alto firewalls
- Experience automating infrastructure tasks with scripting and configuration management tools
