Senior Network Architect
Job Summary
Transforming large-scale network infrastructure, the remote Senior Lead Network Architect will design resilient architectures across Internet and MPLS core networks, advance network automation, and improve service reliability and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Own the architecture and evolution of resilient, scalable Internet, MPLS core, VPN edge, and Metro Ethernet networks
- Develop architecture standards and roadmaps for various network technologies including routing, switching, and MPLS
- Design and govern network automation and observability solutions for network health and performance
Required qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- CCIE and/or JNCIE certifications are highly preferred
- 10+ years of architecture and engineering experience in large-scale carrier or service-provider networks
- Deep expertise in IGP, BGP, MPLS, multicast, VPN, and traffic-engineering technologies
- Hands-on experience with network automation and telemetry using Python, Ansible, and related tools
