Senior Network Detection Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the operational health and performance of the enterprise NDR platform, the full-time Senior Network Detection Engineer will design, deploy, and maintain NDR sensors while collaborating with security operations teams, all in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise Network Detection & Response (NDR) sensors and detection pipelines
• Proactively identify and resolve network visibility gaps using log analysis and monitoring tools
• Build and maintain platform observability using Python and REST APIs to monitor sensor health and data quality

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 4+ years of experience in network engineering and/or information security, focusing on network traffic analysis
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise NDR technologies (e.g., Zeek, Suricata)
• 3+ years of experience with network protocols and architecture, including TCP/IP and packet-level analysis
• 1+ years of experience administering and troubleshooting Linux systems from the command line
