Senior Network Engineer
Job Summary
Recognized as a technical expert, the full-time remote Senior Lead Network Engineer will lead the design, certification, and deployment of IP/MPLS backbone network technologies while driving automation and strategic evolution in a high-accountability environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and deployment of IP/MPLS backbone network technologies and services
- Develop and maintain network architecture standards and engineering guidelines
- Serve as the technical lead for strategic network initiatives involving routing, transport, and automation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering, IP routing, or telecommunications
- Expert knowledge of BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, and routing policy
- Strong experience with service provider routing platforms, preferably Juniper and Nokia
- Experience developing automation solutions using Python and managing infrastructure through Ansible
