Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a 6+ month contract basis, the Senior Network Engineer will design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot complex data center and corporate network environments, focusing on enterprise routing, switching, and security technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot data center and corporate network infrastructure across LAN/WAN, wireless, and VPN environments
• Configure and manage enterprise switches, routers, FortiGate firewalls, F5 load balancers, and other core network technologies
• Create and maintain network architecture and operational documentation while partnering with internal teams and external vendors to resolve connectivity issues

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise data center and corporate network environments
• Strong network design experience with enterprise routing, switching, and complex network troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and F5 load balancers, including F5 BIG-IP technologies
• Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies such as BGP, OSPF, VLANs, TCP/IP, VPN/IPsec, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience creating and maintaining network documentation and architecture
