Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support Atos Public Safety's Next-Generation 9-1-1 solution, the remote full-time Senior Network Engineer will manage network planning, engineering, and architecture processes while ensuring high availability and security of network services through advanced configurations and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in network planning, engineering, and architecture processes while deploying and configuring network devices
• Maximize network performance and availability by monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with network architects
• Provide 2nd or 3rd level support on incidents and service requests, ensuring compliance with security protocols and documentation standards

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on geographically dispersed networks
• 5+ years of network security experience, including firewalls and threat mitigation tools
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN, ISR and ASR Routing platforms, and Nexus 9K Switching
• Experience with Virtualized Networks, including VMware, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure Cloud Platform
• Desirable certifications include Cisco CCNP, CCIE, Security, and/or SDWAN certification
