Senior Network Engineer
Job Summary
To support the ongoing operations and upgrades of network systems, the fully remote Senior Network Engineer will manage network engineering services, including device configuration, risk evaluation for compliance, and tier III troubleshooting, while being available for travel approximately three times per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop specifications and evaluate risk for network compliance while configuring and deploying devices according to established standards
- Conduct site surveys and manage DLA IPv4 and IPv6 address space, including hardware/software technology refreshes and upgrades
- Provide tier III troubleshooting support and develop network monitoring capabilities to maintain situational awareness of network operations
Required Qualifications
- Five years of progressive IT experience, including two technical projects in the past three years
- Top Secret clearance and a High Risk, Critical Sensitive, Tier 5/SSBI investigation
- DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level III (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional Enterprise (CCNP-E) certification
- Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE) certification for key personnel
