Senior Network Engineer
Job Summary
To support the ongoing operations and upgrades of network systems, the fully remote Senior Network Engineer will manage the development of specifications, configure and deploy devices, and conduct site surveys while being available for travel approximately three times a year.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop specifications for network solutions and evaluate risk for compliance
- Configure and deploy devices per DLA standards and manage IPv4 and IPv6 address space
- Conduct Tier III troubleshooting and develop network monitoring capabilities for real-time situational awareness
Required Qualifications
- Five years of progressive IT experience with at least two relevant projects in the past three years
- Possession of a Top Secret clearance and a High Risk, Critical Sensitive, Tier 5/SSBI investigation
- DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level III (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional Enterprise (CCNP-E) certification required
- Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE) certification required for key personnel
