Senior Network Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely with occasional travel, the full-time Senior Network Engineer will provide core network engineering services to manage operations, upgrades, and strategic development for Information Operations systems, ensuring a secure and high-performance network.
Key responsibilities
- Develop specifications for network solutions and evaluate risk for compliance
- Configure and deploy network devices according to established standards and manage DLA's IPv4 and IPv6 address space
- Conduct site surveys, provide Tier III troubleshooting support, and develop network monitoring capabilities
Required qualifications
- Five years of progressive IT experience, with at least two relevant projects in the last three years
- Top Secret clearance and a High Risk, Critical Sensitive Tier 5/SSBI investigation
- DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level III (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional Enterprise (CCNP-E) certification, with Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE) preferred
- Preferred certifications include AWS Cloud Practitioner and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
