Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

Leading a team of Senior Network Engineers, the full-time remote Senior Network Engineer will manage complex network environments, oversee incident resolutions, and drive team performance while ensuring optimal network operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 4-6 Senior Network Engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise
• Manage daily operations, including scrum calls and incident escalations, ensuring timely resolutions
• Conduct root cause analysis for network incidents and implement preventive measures to minimize disruptions

Required Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in network engineering roles, with 2-3 years in a leadership capacity
• Expertise in Cisco and Nexus switches, Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls, and F5 load balancers
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools and automation techniques (e.g., Python, Ansible)
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, PCNSE, or CCSE are preferred
• Strong organizational skills for managing team schedules and workload distribution
