Senior Network Engineer
Job Summary
Managing and optimizing the SolarWinds platform, the full-time Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and developing SQL-based reports and dashboards while collaborating with IT and business teams in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SolarWinds network monitoring systems and modules
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries for custom and ad-hoc reporting
- Design and maintain dashboards in SolarWinds to visualize performance metrics and system status
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SolarWinds products (e.g., NPM, NCM, SAM)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for developing and troubleshooting queries and reports
- Proven experience in installing, upgrading, and maintaining SolarWinds environments
- Solid understanding of network infrastructure, protocols, and monitoring concepts
