Senior Network Engineer
Job Summary
To support a critical security mission, the full-time Senior Network Engineer will maintain and optimize complex firewall and VPN architectures, architect and automate network management using Python, and troubleshoot advanced Layer 2/Layer 3 routing challenges, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize firewall and VPN architectures for security products
- Architect and automate network management processes using Python
- Troubleshoot complex Layer 2/Layer 3 routing challenges and implement permanent solutions
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering
- Proficiency in performance tuning Linux systems related to networking
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including L2/L3 fundamentals and dynamic routing
- Experience with automation and monitoring tools such as Nautobot and Grafana
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math is preferred
