Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and modernization of network infrastructure, the full-time Senior Network Engineer will manage critical network and security services for a manufacturing plant, ensuring high performance and reliability in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the architecture and technical roadmap for the plant network, ensuring alignment with business and IT standards
• Design and implement resilient LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and security solutions while leading network migration and validation activities
• Establish redundancy and capacity measures to meet business continuity requirements, and manage major incidents through resolution

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or engineering degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in critical network environments
• Proven experience in designing network architecture for manufacturing plants or similar operational environments
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and network management platforms
• Strong understanding of IT/OT segmentation and high-availability design principles
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and relevant network security technologies, including FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls
