Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support lifesaving Next-Generation 911 solutions, the full-time Senior Network Engineer will manage on-premises and cloud-based networking across multiple data centers, ensuring the availability and optimization of mission-critical systems while participating in technical strategy and operational leadership.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide extensive support for network architecture, deployments, and troubleshooting across development and production environments
• Contribute to defining long-term infrastructure strategy and lead initiatives to enhance scalability, security, and operational efficiency
• Serve as a senior technical escalation point for complex operational issues and drive resolution efforts to maintain high availability of NG911 services

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with 8-10 years of hands-on network engineering experience
• Strong experience with enterprise and carrier-grade networking technologies, including Cisco and Juniper platforms
• Deep understanding of networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and SD-WAN
• Experience with cloud networking environments and AWS networking services
• Advanced networking certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP are required, with CCIE or JNCIE preferred
