Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support the delivery of lifesaving Next-Generation 911 solutions, the full-time Senior Network Engineer will manage on-premises and cloud-based networking across multiple data centers, ensuring high availability and operational efficiency for mission-critical systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide extensive support for network architecture, deployments, software upgrades, and troubleshooting across development and production environments
• Contribute to defining long-term infrastructure strategy and lead initiatives to improve scalability, security, and automation
• Serve as a senior technical escalation point for complex operational issues and drive resolution efforts to maintain service reliability

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in network engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise and carrier-grade networking technologies, including Cisco and Juniper platforms
• Deep understanding of networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
• Experience with network automation and scripting tools like Python, Ansible, or Terraform
• Advanced networking certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent are required
