Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

To optimize and secure enterprise networks, the remote Senior Network Engineer will design, implement, and manage complex network systems while serving as an L3 escalation point for major incidents and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and troubleshoot complex network incidents involving routing, switching, firewalls, and hybrid-cloud connectivity
• Configure and manage F5 BIG-IP and Palo Alto Networks firewalls, ensuring high availability and security policies
• Design and support cloud networking solutions across Microsoft Azure and AWS, implementing automation and Infrastructure as Code

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or L3 role
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, and network monitoring tools
• Hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP, Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ACI, and Cisco Meraki
• Practical experience with DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions, preferably Infoblox
