Senior Network Security Engineer
Job Summary
To support a globally distributed enterprise technology environment, the remote Senior Network Security & Cloud Engineer will design, implement, and optimize enterprise firewall, network security, and hybrid cloud connectivity solutions, requiring deep expertise in Palo Alto and strong cloud networking skills in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Palo Alto firewall environments and security policies
- Engineer and troubleshoot site-to-site IPsec VPNs and hybrid cloud connectivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud network security services and maintain operational procedures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and practical experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls
- Strong cloud networking experience within Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
- Experience with IPsec VPNs, secure connectivity, and network segmentation
- Working knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and enterprise routing concepts
