Senior Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

Providing advanced engineering expertise and technical leadership, the full-time Senior Network Security Engineer will manage enterprise network security across cloud and on-prem environments, lead complex designs and implementations, and mentor other engineers while driving modernization initiatives aligned with a Zero Trust strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of secure architectures for LAN/WAN, hybrid cloud, and SaaS environments, owning medium-to-large initiatives from design through delivery
• Engineer and optimize advanced firewall/WAF capabilities, DDoS protections, and implement microsegmentation strategies
• Act as Level 3 escalation for high-severity incidents, coordinating technical responses and driving systemic fixes and resilience improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
• 7-10+ years of hands-on experience in network security engineering, including cloud networking and enterprise platforms
• CCNP/CCIE (Security or Enterprise) or equivalent experience preferred
• Deep expertise in firewall/WAF policy architecture, routing, segmentation, and cloud networking controls
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust, defense-in-depth, and secure-by-design principles
