Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Off-Site AEO Strategy Manager will oversee vendor relationships, drive AI citation research, and develop outreach strategies to enhance visibility for online programs managed by university partners.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage a portfolio of vendor relationships for outreach, link development, and content placement
- Identify key publications and ranking sites cited by AI engines for higher-education queries and develop a prioritized outreach target list
- Conduct ongoing outreach to media contacts to secure earned mentions, citations, and coverage for university partners
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SEO or digital PR with a focus on AI and LLM-based search engines
- Proven experience managing vendor relationships and holding agencies accountable to outcomes
- Demonstrated track record of building publication relationships and producing consistent earned coverage
- Strong ability to communicate AI search concepts to non-technical stakeholders
