Senior Okta CIAM Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing digital identity platform, the full-time remote Senior Okta CIAM Engineer will design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions focused on patient identity management, authentication, and secure access to electronic health information.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement secure patient identity solutions using Okta CIAM, including authentication for patient portals and mobile health apps
- Architect access controls aligned with HIPAA Security Rule and implement identity proofing and fraud prevention measures
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and monitor identity-based threats while leading complex cybersecurity projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Technology Information Systems, or related technical discipline
- 10+ years of cumulative experience in Information Technology with 5+ years of hands-on experience with Okta CIAM implementations
- Deep knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and API security
- Experience in healthcare or regulated environments, supporting HIPAA compliance and audits
- Proficiency in Agile project management and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and related technologies
