Senior OpenStack Systems Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr. OpenStack Systems Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage OpenStack environments and associated network and storage infrastructure
- Provide advanced support for cloud infrastructure teams and troubleshoot system failures
- Install, configure, and monitor VMWare, OpenStack, and AWS while utilizing scripting for automation
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in system and network administration, as well as virtualization
- Experience with OpenStack, Ansible, and scripting languages such as Python and Bash
- Familiarity with hardware including DELL and HPe servers and storage solutions
- Certifications in virtualization, networking (CCIE or equivalent), and Linux (RHCE or equivalent) are preferred
- Experience in managing Jira projects and utilizing version control systems like Git
