Job Summary
Ensuring production uptime and optimal performance, the full-time Senior Oracle Cloud DBA will manage database resources, perform routine DBA tasks, and maintain the Oracle Cloud OCI platform while collaborating with various IT teams.
Key responsibilities
- Support physical and application-level database management, including storage, security, and performance tuning
- Execute routine DBA tasks such as backups, recovery, and database maintenance while ensuring optimal system health
- Manage the Oracle Cloud OCI platform, overseeing integrations, configurations, and periodic health checks
Required qualifications
- BA in Computer Science or a related field
- 10+ years of experience as an Oracle ERP APPS DBA and at least 5 years as an Oracle Cloud engineer
- Experience with Cloud OCI architecture and executing upgrade cycles
- Hands-on knowledge of backup management, recovery techniques, and disaster recovery planning
- Proficiency in Unix Shell scripting and system administration within Oracle Cloud ERP
