Senior Oracle Database Administrator
Job Summary
Supporting a long-term federal program with the Department of Energy, the full-time Senior Oracle Database Administrator will provide database administration for various DOE applications, including Oracle AI Database 26ai, while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide database administration support for Oracle WebCenter Portal and core databases for DOE applications
- Install, configure, and administer Oracle AI Database 26ai in production and development environments
- Design and advise on Oracle SSO, OID, and OAM integration with DOE OneID
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline with 8 years of relevant experience, or 9-10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Hands-on experience as a Database Administrator with Oracle OID, OAM, and SSO
- Strong understanding of Oracle databases and related utilities
- Experience with performance tuning and monitoring
- Knowledge of Oracle backup and recovery processes
