Senior Oracle Database Administrator
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Oracle Database Administrator will manage backend databases, including SQL and Oracle environments, providing support, development, and maintenance services to ensure functional integrity across various applications.
Key responsibilities
- Execute daily troubleshooting, system setup, and configuration for SQL Server and SQL Clusters
- Perform proactive capacity planning and system health monitoring using Idera and SolarWinds
- Assist users with building and configuring SQL and Oracle databases while resolving related ServiceNow tickets
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience in database administration
- Experience managing request lifecycles within ServiceNow
- Proficient in troubleshooting database issues across SQL, Oracle, and application-level integrations
- Familiarity with HA/DR, Oracle Grid, and Oracle RMAN technologies
- Ability to respond to and execute assigned Requests for Changes (RFCs) for ongoing maintenance
