Senior Oracle Database Administrator
Job Summary
Serving as the senior technical resource for Oracle database administration, the full-time Senior Oracle Database Administrator will manage troubleshooting, configuration, and proactive capacity planning for Oracle database environments while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of Oracle database administration, troubleshooting, and configuration
- Support capacity planning and system health monitoring for Oracle database environments
- Manage and resolve assigned RFCs and ServiceNow tickets in accordance with operational SLAs
Required qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience administering Oracle Database in enterprise production environments
- Working knowledge of Oracle Grid and Oracle RMAN technologies
- Experience with ITSM/ticketing platforms for request lifecycle management
- Familiarity with database monitoring/capacity planning tools
- Ability to execute Requests for Change (RFCs) under formal change management processes
