Senior Oracle Database Administrator
Job Summary
Providing senior database administration and operational support, the remote Senior Oracle Database Administrator will manage Oracle databases, oversee backup and recovery activities, and ensure high availability and security compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Create, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle databases and Grid environments
- Lead troubleshooting, performance tuning, and capacity planning while managing RMAN backup and recovery
- Execute database upgrades, patching, and maintain security and compliance standards
Required qualifications
- Minimum eight years of experience in database administration with strong Oracle expertise
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database, PL/SQL, Oracle Grid, and Oracle RMAN
- Proficiency in database provisioning, performance tuning, and incident management
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
