Senior Oracle Database Administrator
Job Summary
Providing senior-level database administration and operational support, the full-time Senior Oracle Database Administrator will manage Oracle environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructure while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Create, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle databases and Oracle Grid environments
- Lead troubleshooting, performance tuning, and capacity planning while managing backup and recovery activities
- Maintain database security, compliance, and high availability, including executing software upgrades and validating recovery procedures
Required qualifications
- Minimum eight years of experience in Oracle database administration with demonstrated expertise
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database, PL/SQL, Oracle Grid, and Oracle RMAN
- Proficiency in database provisioning, performance tuning, backup/restoration, and incident management
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
- Experience with database security and compliance practices
