Job Summary
Providing senior database administration and operational support, the full-time Senior Oracle Database Administrator will manage Oracle databases and associated environments remotely while ensuring high availability and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Create, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle databases and Oracle Grid environments
- Manage Oracle RMAN backup, restoration, and recovery activities, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities
- Lead troubleshooting, performance tuning, and capacity planning while maintaining database security and compliance
Required qualifications
- Minimum eight years of experience in database administration with demonstrated Oracle expertise
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database, PL/SQL, Oracle Grid, and Oracle RMAN
- Proficiency in database provisioning, performance tuning, backup/restoration, and incident management
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams
