Senior Oracle DBA
Job Summary
To support a database unit, the full-time Senior Oracle DBA will manage Oracle databases, perform upgrades and patches, and resolve performance issues while working 100% remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and support Oracle databases, including upgrades and quarterly patching
- Conduct database cloning, backup, recovery, and manage Data Guard instances
- Write and maintain scripts for database systems and resolve performance issues
Required qualifications
- Ten or more years of experience as an Oracle DBA supporting PeopleSoft Financials, CRM, and/or HCM
- Two or more years of experience with Oracle 19c as a DBA
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata, including configuration and performance diagnostics
- Seven years of experience in backup, cloning, and recovery strategies for large systems
- Knowledge of Unix and Linux Operating Systems with scripting experience
