Senior Payer Policy Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Payer Policy Analyst will assist in policy and alliance development activities, focusing on improving reimbursement for genetic testing by building relationships with state Medicaid contacts and addressing billing and reimbursement issues.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with management teams to understand technologies and provide insights on payer policy for Government and Commercial payers
• Attend payer meetings to communicate policy concerns and monitor updates affecting revenue
• Develop and maintain relationships with policy makers and advocate for company positions on legislation and regulations

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience, or 7+ years of experience without a degree
• 3+ years of experience developing State Medicaid relationships and reimbursement for genetic testing
• 5+ years in a clinical or business setting, with knowledge of insurance guidelines and payer policy
• Experience with state and federal agencies and commercial insurance payers
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
