Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Payroll Accountant will manage accurate payroll processing, accounting, and reporting for a diverse workforce while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, DCAA requirements, and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with semimonthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll transactions
- Administer timekeeping procedures and review employee timecards for compliance and accuracy
- Ensure payroll tax compliance by reviewing filings and monitoring changes in tax laws
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of payroll experience, including in a multi-state payroll environment
- Hands-on experience with ADP and Deltek Costpoint or similar payroll systems
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements
- Experience with payroll reconciliations and internal controls
