Senior Payroll Analyst

Job Summary

Overseeing payroll operations, the remote Senior Payroll Analyst will ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing for employees across multiple locations, serving as a subject matter expert in payroll policies and collaborating with various departments to resolve complex issues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, validation, and processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy in calculations and compliance with regulations
• Maintain payroll compliance with federal, state, and local laws, supporting audits and monitoring data integrity
• Analyze payroll reports and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of payroll experience with increasing levels of responsibility, including multi-state payroll processing
• Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, wage and hour laws, and compliance requirements
• Experience with payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP, or Oracle
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis
