Senior Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing payroll function, the full-time Senior Payroll Specialist will execute end-to-end bi-weekly multi-state payroll processing, conduct audits and reconciliations, and lead payroll system projects in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute bi-weekly multi-state, multi-entity payroll runs, including on-cycle and off-cycle adjustments
• Audit and reconcile payroll-impacting changes to ensure data integrity
• Lead payroll system/process projects and provide rationale for technical updates

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive payroll experience with complex, multi-state payrolls
• Proven experience with end-to-end payroll processing and off-cycle adjustments
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and large dataset handling
• Demonstrated proficiency with Workday Payroll and reporting tools
• Preferred: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent certification
