Senior Performance Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Performance Engineer will manage end-to-end performance testing for web and mobile applications, utilizing tools like JMeter and Grafana, while collaborating with engineering and leadership to shape performance strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Perform load and performance testing using JMeter and report findings to the project team
- Design and execute load, stress, and scalability tests, while mentoring junior engineers on best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather performance targets and analyze issues discovered during evaluations
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in performance testing and analysis of web-based enterprise applications
- Proficiency in JMeter and performance monitoring tools such as Grafana
- Experience in an object-oriented programming language, preferably C#.NET or Java
- Strong understanding of load testing concepts and infrastructure components
- Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with code profiling tools
