Job Summary
Leading performance engineering activities, the full-time Senior Performance Engineer will define test strategies, develop testing frameworks, and evaluate application scalability and reliability while collaborating with various technical and business teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead performance testing activities including planning, workload modeling, test design, and stakeholder communication
- Design and execute load, stress, and scalability testing scenarios while analyzing performance metrics to identify bottlenecks
- Establish performance engineering standards and integrate performance validation into CI/CD pipelines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, statistics, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on performance testing experience, with at least 2 years in a technical lead role
- Strong experience with performance testing enterprise applications across various API styles and architectural patterns
- Proficiency in deploying and managing JMeter or comparable tools in cloud-hosted environments
- Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines and supporting shift-left performance engineering practices
