Senior Pharmacy Operations Specialist
Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing the administration and continuous improvement of pharmacy benefits for Commercial and Medicaid members, the full-time remote Senior Pharmacy Operations Specialist will manage operational processes, resolve complex issues, and ensure compliance while leading cross-functional initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure effective day-to-day administration of pharmacy benefits across all lines of business
- Research and resolve complex operational issues, implementing sustainable corrective solutions
- Monitor pharmacy operational processes and vendor performance to improve efficiency and service standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field required; experience can be considered in lieu of a degree
- Pharmacy Technician license preferred
- At least 5-7 years of experience in pharmacy benefit, managed care, or related healthcare operations required
- At least 3-5 years of experience with pharmacy claims and benefit configuration required
- Experience supporting Commercial and Medicaid pharmacy benefits preferred
