Senior Philanthropy Officer
Job Summary
To expand donor engagement and support, the full-time Senior Philanthropy Officer will cultivate relationships with major donors and foundations, manage a portfolio of approximately 150 donors, and implement strategic fundraising initiatives while working remotely from the San Francisco, California area.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate strategies to broaden and deepen major donor support in the region
- Manage and cultivate relationships with existing and new donors to increase funding levels
- Coordinate and implement regional events and donor experiences to enhance engagement
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of fundraising or equivalent sales experience
- Proven track record of securing $1M+ annually from major donors
- Experience with donor cultivation and moves management
- Salesforce experience is a plus
