Senior Pipeline Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing visualization and technology studio, the full-time Senior Pipeline Engineer will design, build, and maintain artist-facing tools and integrations while collaborating directly with artists in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain the studio's pipeline and artist-facing tools, ensuring a responsive and user-friendly experience
- Develop integrations with software like Maya, Unreal, and Nuke, utilizing Python APIs and managing the tools' full lifecycle
- Collaborate with artists and supervisors to understand their workflows and enhance tools to fit their needs
Required qualifications
- Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and systems design
- Professional experience in Python and a systems-level language (C++, Rust, etc.) for performance and low-level systems work
- Experience building responsive and intuitive user interfaces using TypeScript/JavaScript, Qt/PySide, and in-engine tools
- Comfortable using AI tools in engineering tasks, with a user-centered mindset towards artist needs
- Senior-level experience with ownership of significant systems and high autonomy in project management
