Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Piping Designer will manage projects for industrial and pharmaceutical facilities, ensuring schedule adherence and technical quality while mentoring team members.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the technical quality and schedule of assigned engineering tasks
- Review vendor drawings and execute piping engineering design while developing design estimates
- Recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly to maintain project alignment
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree (AA) in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or a similar technical degree
- At least 15 years of piping design experience
- Advanced working knowledge of piping design in 2D/3D modeling software, specifically Hexagon Smartplant S3D and Autodesk Plant 3D
- Ideally located near the Cincinnati office, but open to candidates anywhere in the US
