Senior Platform Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support CrowdStrike's analytics ecosystem, the full-time Senior Platform Data Engineer will architect, deploy, and operate core data infrastructure and platform services in a remote setting, focusing on reliability, scalability, and performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and administer core platform tooling, including Airflow and Superset, in production environments
- Manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for data platform components using Terraform and build CI/CD pipelines for platform services
- Implement platform security, access controls, and compliance standards while mentoring junior engineers
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 8+ years of combined infrastructure and data engineering experience
- Advanced Python programming skills (5+ years)
- Expert knowledge of Apache Airflow deployment and administration
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI
